20 de mai. de 2024 · Foul Play (Japanese: イカサマ Foul Play) is a damage-dealing Dark-type move introduced in Generation V. It was TM21 in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! and TR81 in Pokémon Sword and Shield. It is TM062 in Generation IX.

Foul Play uses the opponent's Attack stat instead of the user's in damage calculation. In other words, the move acts as if the target is attacking themselves, and thus is more powerful when the opponent has higher Attack.

If you use Foul Play on a Pokemon with Huge Power or Choice Band/LO, it doesn't take those boosts into effect. For example, a Banded Adamant Huge Power Azumarill has an attack stat of 654 after accounting for the ability and band. If you use Foul Play against it though, it will use the unmodified stat of 218.
