Facing Mirrors (Persian: آینههای روبرو, romanized: Aynehaye Rooberoo) is a 2011 Iranian drama film directed and co-written by Negar Azarbayjani. The film's is produced and co-written by Fereshteh Taerpoor.
At first Rana attempts to help, but when she realizes that Edi is transgender, a dangerous series of conflicts arises. Directed by Negar Azarbayjani, FACING MIRRORS is the first narrative film from Iran to feature a transgender main character.

Rana has chosen a path in order to support her family, while Adineh (Eddie) has fled his home and city to escape his complicated situation as a transsexual man prevented from living as his true self by his family.
