Dorothy Johnson Vaughan (Kansas City, 20 de setembro de 1910 — Hampton, 10 de novembro de 2008), foi uma matemática estadunidense, que trabalhou na National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA), a agência predecessora da NASA.
Dorothy Vaughan was an American mathematician and human computer who worked for NACA and NASA at Langley Research Center. She was the first black supervisor of the West Area Computers, and taught herself and her staff Fortran programming language for the space program.
