Klosterruine auf dem Oybin, 1810. Zusammen mit Friedrich Kersting hielt sich Friedrich vom 8.-17. Juli 1810 auf einer Wanderung im Riesengebirge auf (Anm. 1), auf dem Weg dorthin besuchten sie am 4. Juli die Klosterruine auf dem Oybin bei Zittau, wo das vorliegende Aquarell entstand.
