It lets you connect to a channel without the need to open Twitch/Kick in your browser which comes in handy if you happen to have only one monitor, or you want to have your chat on your main screen. It is not only limited to Twitch and Kick, you can connect to any chat via the external sources option.
I tried running ghost chat a few times including tonight. I like it BUT chat doesn't seem to scroll and when the chat messages reach the bottom it becomes impossible to read them. Am I missing something?
