    London Party

London Party is the multiplayer party mode in the Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. It consists of events and Bonus Games played through interacting with various characters from the Mario and Sonic games. Players compete to earn stickers, which are awarded upon winning the various games. The first player to fill their sticker sheet, of 16, 32, or 48 spaces depending on the game settings, is declared the winner. •Mission List: This holds every Bonus Game the player has played in the London Party game mode. By selecting a game, it can be played outside of the London Party by up to four players. There are a total of 36 Bonus Games, including Rival Showdowns.

    Bonus Mode

The Bonus Mode holds the Mii customization aspect, jukebox and event music options, and the scratch card system. •Scratch Cards: •Scratch: One scratch card is awarded for every event played and five are gained for each sticker sheet filled in a London Party. These consist of six grey squares, two of which the player will be able to "scratch" as if they were using a coin. If the images under the boxes match, the corresponding prize will be won. "Extra chance" and "Sorry" boxes exist as well, with them respectively providing a second shot at choosing a square or ending the card then and there. •Blank Exchange: This is the shop in which the player can purchase various items with any scratch cards they did not win a prize on. There are three categories, with each containing items that cost two, five, and ten blank cards respectively. •Mii Costume Change: Here, the player can dress their Mii up in various outfits, which can be obtained through the shop or by winning them off a scratch card. Each accessory changes the stat values of the Mii wearing it, meaning that the player can completely customize the performance of that Mii, along with making them look however the player wants. •Sound: •Jukebox: The jukebox functions the same as the Sound Test found in past Sonic the Hedgehog titles. Here, the player can listen to various in-game music, along with a selection of tracks from various Mario and Sonic games. However, these tunes must be bought in the store or won with a scratch card. Four categories of music reside here: Event Sounds, L. Party Sounds, Theme Sounds, and Mario & Sonic Sounds. •Gameplay Music: Along with listening to the music, the player can adjust the tracks played in each event through this option. Each event's background music can be changed to any unlocked Mario or Sonic songs, along with the original music composed for the game.

    Records

The Records menu allows the player to view all their high score in each event, along with statistics such as most played as character and most played event. •Player Data: This menu displays data from the selected profile. •Event Records: The high score for each event can be viewed here, along with the character or team used to get it. By pressing - on the Wii Remote, the leaderboard of the local profiles can be viewed, and by pressing + the global ranking could be viewed through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.[note 3] •Challenges: This menu shows the player each challenge that exists in Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, along with their progress in the current level. Upon completion, the icon for the challenge will feature a red bar on top of it that reads "CLEARED!" and the date of which this was done is shown in description to the right. •Stickers: Displays every sticker that the player has obtained in London Party divided into seven pages. By selecting a sticker, the event or Bonus Game in which it was obtained is shown at the bottom of the screen. There are no hints or information given on the stickers which the player has not collected.

These are the Challenges which the player can complete to gain a 100% completion upon selecting their file on the main menu.

Stickers are collected in the London Party game mode by winning bonus games from characters or rivals or by winning events. A book of every sticker the player has collected is viewable in the records menu.
