Since PepsiCo does not have the rights to 7-Up in the United States (where it is a product of the Dr Pepper Snapple Group), Fido Dido was instead used to promote Slice. Fido Dido reappeared in the 2000s on cans and advertising for 7-Up worldwide. In 2018, Fido Dido has reappeared in the Vintage Series cans.

30 de abr. de 2018 · Before the laidback icon was a mascot for 7UP, he was a cartoon illustration. Created by Joanna Ferrone and Sue Rose, Fido Dido was doodled by Rose on a cocktail napkin in 1985. Then and now, he had a triangular face, two dots for eyes, and a few squiggly lines for hair.
Fido Dido is a mascot for 7Up that began life as a cartoon character created by Joanna Ferrone and Sue Rose. Rose first sketched him on a napkin in 1985 and then she and Ferrone made T-shirts with the slogan "Fido is for Fido, Fido is against no one".
