18 de nov. de 2022 · Starting in 2023, Formula 1 is set to launch an all-female driver category, called the F1 Academy, which intends to develop and prepare young female drivers to progress to higher levels of competition – this includes W Series, Formula 1, Formula 2, and Formula 3.
F1 Academy is a female-only and junior-level single-seater racing championship founded by Formula One. The championship is a spec series, with all teams competing with an identical Tatuus F4-T-421 chassis and tyre compounds developed by Pirelli.
16 de dez. de 2022 · The all-women F1 Academy series has confirmed the team line-up for the inaugural campaign in 2023. Five veteran outfits in junior categories have confirmed their entries for next year with ART Grand Prix, Campos Racing, Carlin, MP Motorsport and PREMA Racing fielding three cars each to comprise the 15-car grid.
