    The Cotswolds are in (my opinion) best explored by car (though parking can be an issue during the summer) as public transport options are limited. There are excellent links to the area via the national motorway network and the M4, M5 and M40. The Cotswolds are located about 100 miles outside of London. Allow around 2 hours depending on traffic.
