9 de jun. de 2017 · With the Dmax's abundant torque, and low RPM ceiling, it's important to get proper lockup for max performance. Without it, my truck won't lockup until redline at 3rd, wherein it then drops 500rpms and redlines again and shifts to fourth.

1 de jan. de 2008 · Sounds like the valve that keeps pressure up when the converter locks. Stock it drops from something like 180 with the converter unlocked to something like 100 with it locked. Those numbers are probably wrong, but you get the idea. If that's the valve I'm thinking of it prevents the drop at lockup.
