Old School RuneScape is Jagex's official term for a previous version of the RuneScape game that was introduced from the August 2007 Archive of RuneScape, a backup of the RuneScape source code as it had been on 10 August 2007. It is also commonly referred to as OSRS or 2007scape.
There are 142 pay-to-play quests in Old School RuneScape, offering a total of 264 Quest points. Together with the free-to-play quests, there is a total of 164 quests for 308 Quest points. There are 23 different skills in Old School RuneScape . All skills start out at level 1 except for Hitpoints, which starts with level 10. Players can advance a skill to level 99. After that, they can increase their experience up to 200,000,000 but get no more levels for doing so.
