The film stars Gene Hackman as a hard-nosed cop who is teamed up with a detective with multiple-personality disorder, played by Dan Aykroyd, to uncover a long-lost Nazi sex tape, featuring Adolf Hitler, which would jeopardize the political future of the German chancellor-elect.
He was also in film Loose Cannons (1990) with Gene Hackman and Dan Aykroyd (see photo above) and appeared as the Russian battle-robot pilot Alexander in the cult science fiction film Robot Jox...
A fairly large budget, big actors, but it just didn't feel like a family unit. Gene Hackman is a wonderful guy, though. He's very easygoing and loose, very complimentary, and he sticks up for you. I didn't get along with Bob Clark, the director, and Hackman got behind me on that.
