Bray (Irish: Bré) is a coastal town in north County Wicklow, Ireland. It is situated about 20 km (12 mi) south of Dublin city centre on the east coast. It has a population of 33,512 making it the tenth largest urban area within Ireland (at the 2022 census).
Bray has been awarded the prestigious international Purple Flag award. The county Wicklow town has become the latest town to receive the award, which is designed to honour excellence in the appeal and management of a town or city centre area between the hours of 5pm and 5am.
