Alex’s Caves is a Forge mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that adds 5 new cave biomes to the Overworld. Unlike most normal biomes, these cave biomes are exceedingly rare - yet they all contain a variety of unique blocks, items, mobs and mechanics that makes them considerable subterranean destinations.

Version 2.0 is the second major update for Alex's Caves. It will add the Candy Cavity, a new cave biome entirely made out of candy. Due to the cave's nature, everything inside is edible.

The Eruption Update takes the mod to new heights by introducing new content to the two cave biomes – the Primordial Caves and Toxic Caves.
The first step to finding an Alex's Caves biome will be to head to your nearest underground cabin. These are subterranean structures that can be found in most Overworld biomes. Inside any underground cabin should be both a Spelunkery Table and a barrel containing some Cave Tablets.
