John Anderson Fry (born May 28, 1960) is an American academic administrator, currently serving as the president of Drexel University. Fry formerly served as president of Franklin & Marshall College. [citation needed] In 2024, he was elected to the American Philosophical Society.

Inauguration. President John A. Fry was inaugurated as Drexel University's fourteenth president on April 15, 2011. The investiture ceremony on April 15th was preceded by a daylong series of events and symposia, including distinguished speakers on autism and urban planning, an inaugural concert, and a student festival.
