The All Faiths Cemetery is located in Middle Village, Queens, New York. The 225-acre (91-hectare) cemetery was established in 1850 by Lutheran pastor Frederick W. Geissenhainer, and incorporated in 1852. [1] . Originally named Lutheran Cemetery, it was renamed to Lutheran All Faiths Cemetery in 1990.

The All Faiths Cemetery was founded in 1850 and incorporated in March of 1852 when the entrepreneur Rev. Dr. F. W. Geissenhainer took advantage of the Rural Cemetery Act of 1847-48. The picturesque cemetery then known as the Lutheran Cemetery, was paid for mostly in part by Rev. Geissenhainer.
He was later buried in All Faiths Cemetery in Worcester. As the family's savings and possessions were lost in the disaster, a fundraiser and benefit was held by the city of Worcester which brought in $2,000 (equivalent to $63,100 in 2023).
