From 2004 to 2006, Tommy was a resident playwright at Griffin Theatre Company where he wrote Strangers in Between and his now iconic and multi-award-winning adaptation of Holding The Man. Widely recognised as a seminal work of Australian theatre.
His most recent stage play was Packer & Sons, a dramatisation of three generations of Australia's famous tycoon family. It broke a ten-year box office record at Belvoir and won the Australia Council National Theatre Award. He is the writer for the upcoming stage musical for John Farnham and Michael Cassel productions.
