Tom Holkenborg (born 8 December 1967), also known as Junkie XL, is a Dutch composer, multi-instrumentalist, DJ, producer, and engineer. Originally known for his trance productions, he has moved to producing electronica and big beat music and film scores.

Biografie. Holkenborg was lid van Weekend at Waikiki en de metalband Nerve. Met de van de Urban Dance Squad afkomstige Rudeboy maakte hij 2 albums. Tot 2000 was Junkie XL een liveband, met René van der Zee op de gitaar, DJ Frankie D op de draaitafels en Baz Mattie op drums bij de live-optredens.
