Keith Samples (born 1955 or 1956) is an American filmmaker and former syndication executive. He graduated in 1977 at the Texas Tech University and pursued a sports career. He was founder of the film and television production company Rysher Entertainment.
Keith Samples was born on 22 December 1955. He is a director and producer, known for Election (1999), Big Night (1996) and Oz (1997). He has been married to Meggan Kimberley since 6 July 2002.

During a career in film and television that spans 30 years, Keith Samples has been involved with the production and distribution of more than 20 feature films and dozens of television series. A 1977 graduate of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas (BA Journalism), Samples began his career working in the Texas Tech athletic department.

Director
Samples directed episodes for TV series including Everwood, One Tree Hill, The O.C., Oz, Haven and Freddy's Nightmares as well as award winning dramas The Practice and Felicity. He also directed the films Single White Female 2: The Psycho and A Smile Like Yours. He directed the film Love Lies Bleeding, with Christian Slater.
Producer
In 2000 the Samples' produced film Election won an Independent Spirit Award for Best Feature. He has also produced films Above Suspicion, Big Night, Switchback, Walking Tall and The Death and Life of Bobby Z.
On July 6, 2002, Samples married Meggan Kimberley.
