  4. John Howard 1st Duke of Norfolk was born in 1422, in Horsham Saint Faith, Norfolk, England as the son of Robert Howard and Margaret de MOWBRAY. He married Lady Catherine de Moleyns in August 1441, in Stoke by Nayland, Suffolk, England. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 5 daughters. He registered for military service in 1453.
