Ethel Jewett (September 8, 1877 – December 8, 1944) was an American silent film actress.
Theodora Sarah Orne Jewett (September 3, 1849 – June 24, 1909) was an American novelist, short story writer and poet, best known for her local color works set along or near the southern coast of Maine. Jewett is recognized as an important practitioner of American literary regionalism.

An article in the New York Morning Telegraph, July 21, 1906, told of an off-stage activity: "Ethel Jewett, a blonde featherweight rehearsing for E.E. Rice's Girl From Paris revival, went down to Manhattan Beach Wednesday afternoon to absorb local atmosphere and to get cooled off.
