Csongrád-Csanád is an administrative county in southern Hungary, straddling the river Tisza, on the border with Serbia and Romania. It shares borders with the Hungarian counties Bács-Kiskun County, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County and Békés. The administrative centre of Csongrád-Csanád county is Szeged.
A vármegye összterülete 4263 km 2, mely Magyarország 4,58%-át teszi ki, területe teljesen sík. Magas a napsütéses órák száma és kiváló talaja miatt Magyarország legjelentősebb mezőgazdasági területe. Legismertebb termékei a szegedi paprika és a makói hagyma, de jelentős terménye a gabona, a zöldség és a gyümölcs is.
