Corpus Christi Independent School District (CCISD) is a school district based in Corpus Christi, Texas, United States. There are five other school districts that also serve the city of Corpus Christi.
Corpus Christi Independent School District (1970) was the first case to extend the U.S. Supreme Court's Brown v. the Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas decision (1954) to Mexican Americans. It recognized them as a minority group that could be and was frequently discriminated against.

Opened in 1957, Mary Carroll High School is currently the second largest and third oldest school in the Corpus Christi Independent School District. The school is named for the Corpus Christi Independent School District's first female superintendent.
