Clifton College is a public school in the city of Bristol in South West England, founded in 1862 and offering both boarding and day school for pupils aged 13–18.
Clifton has a unique story amongst leading public schools which explains the character and achievements of today’s Cliftonians. Clifton was founded and led by Dr John Percival, a visionary, intellectual Head Master who believed in science, the education of women and racial tolerance.

Trinity College, Bristol was formed in 1971 from a merger of three evangelical colleges in Bristol: Clifton College, Dalton House with St Michaels, and Tyndale Hall. Trinity College, Bristol is rooted in the evangelical tradition (and is affiliated to the Evangelical Alliance ) but offers training to Christians from a variety of theological traditions.
