On Our Merry Way is a 1948 American comedy film produced by Benedict Bogeaus and Burgess Meredith and released by United Artists. At the time of its release, King Vidor and Leslie Fenton were credited with its direction, although the DVD lists John Huston and George Stevens, who assisted with one of the segments, as well.
Production. Producer Benedict Bogeaus had a deal making movies for United Artists. The film was originally going to be called The Congress Woman, and George Raft signed to star in October 1945. It was then retitled Mr Ace and the Queen and Tallulah Bankhead was named as a possible co-star.
Production. The film was known as Where the Wind Dies. Cornel Wilde's casting was announced in March 1954 with Benedict Bogeaus to produce for Filmcrest Productions and Harmon Jones to direct. Yvonne De Carlo signed to play his co-star. Eventually Dwan directed.
