Anton Ritter von Schmerling (23 August 1805 – 23 May 1893) was an Austrian statesman.
Anton Ritter von Schmerling war österreichischer Politiker und Jurist. Im Jahre 1848 diente er als Reichsminister in der Provisorischen Zentralgewalt, der ersten gesamtdeutschen Regierung. Von 1860 bis 1865 war er österreichischer Regierungschef.
