Anand and Milind Srivastava are a duo of Indian film music composers. Born to composer Chitragupt , they have composed music for over 200 Bollywood films. [1] The brothers debuted in 1984 with Ab Ayega Mazaa and had their major breakthrough with Qayamat se Qayamat Tak in 1988.

He was born in Sawreji, a village located in Gopalganj district in the Indian state of Bihar (now in Gopalganj district) in a Kayastha family.[citation needed] His sons, Anand and Milind Shrivastava, are also Bollywood music directors.
He mostly worked with lyricist Majrooh Sultanpuri. Also the song "Machalti Hui Hawa Mein Chham Chham" sung by Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar from "Ganga Ki Lahrein" was a hit.
