Susan Mailer (born August 28, 1949) is an American psychoanalyst, writer, and academic who has lived in Chile since the 1980s. Mailer is the firstborn child of American writer Norman Mailer and his first wife, Beatrice Silverman.

Susan is co-founder of the Psychoanalytic Association of Santiago and is a member of the International Psychoanalytic Association. She is also a member of the International Association for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (IARPP) based in New York.
Susan Mailer, a psychoanalyst, is co-founder of the Psychoanalytic Association of Santiago where she is also a faculty member. She has a private practice and supervises in Santiago, Chile. Her memoir In Another Place, with and without My Father Norman Mailer, was published in 2019, and the Spanish translation will be published in November 2022.
