Sir William Gerald Golding, CBE (Newquay, 19 de setembro de 1911 – Perranarworthal, 19 de junho de 1993) foi um escritor, novelista, dramaturgo e poeta inglês, autor do best-seller O Senhor das Moscas, de 1954, membro da Royal Society of Literature [1] e vencedor do Prêmio Nobel de Literatura de 1983.
Sir William Gerald Golding CBE FRSL (19 September 1911 – 19 June 1993) was a British novelist, playwright, and poet. Best known for his debut novel Lord of the Flies (1954), he published another twelve volumes of fiction in his lifetime.
