Richard Aldington (1892-1962) was an English writer and poet, an early associate of the Imagist movement. He wrote novels, criticism, biography, and edited The Egoist, a literary journal.
Richard Aldington (Portsmouth, 8 de Julho de 1892 — Sury-en-Vaux, 27 de Julho de 1962) foi um escritor e poeta inglês e um dos primeiros associados do movimento imagista. Ele foi casado com a poetisa Hilda Doolittle (H.D.) de 1911 a 1938.
Richard Aldington was prominent in several literary capacities; most notably as a founding poet of the Imagist movement and as a novelist who conveyed the horror of World War I through his written works. He was also a prolific critic, translator, and essayist.
