Patricia Biow Broderick (February 23, 1925 – November 18, 2003) was an American playwright and painter. She was the wife of actor James Broderick and the mother of actor Matthew Broderick.

Timeline. 1925. Born February 23 in New York City to Milton and Sophie Taub Biow. 1939–1943. Attended The Dalton School where she studied art with Mexican artist Rufino Tamayo, and Vaclav Vytiacil. At 15, Broderick was invited by Tamayo to live and study with him and his wife Olga in San Miguel.
