The Beast Must Die is a British thriller television series based on the novel of the same name by Nicholas Blake, adapted for television by Gaby Chiappe. It centres on a mother's grief for her son who was killed in a car accident.
Staying on as a house guest, Frances must now work out how she's going to see through her murderous plan. While Strangeways continues his own investigation into the case, he begins to question what Frances' presence on the island may mean.
