An expert in labor and constitutional law, he interrupted his teaching duties several times throughout his long career to perform public service.
30 de mai. de 2004 · Professor Emeritus Archibald Cox, the famed Watergate special prosecutor and former solicitor general, died yesterday in his home in Brooksville, Maine. He was 92. Cox graduated from Harvard College in 1934 and from Harvard Law School in 1937.
Archibald Cox stands out in American legal history as a leader of tremendous courage, expertise, and integrity. Widely known for his role as special prosecutor during Watergate, Cox served in a variety of federal-government positions from the 1940s to the mid-1960s.
