Augusta Frederica de Hesse-Homburgo (em alemão: Auguste Friederike; Bad Homburg vor der Höhe, 28 de novembro de 1776 – Ludwigslust, 1 de abril de 1871) [1] foi condessa de Hesse-Homburgo por nascimento, e grã-duquesa hereditária de Meclemburgo-Schwerin pelo seu casamento com Frederico Luís de Meclemburgo-Schwerin.
Auguste Friederike von Hessen-Homburg (* 28. November 1776 in Homburg vor der Höhe; † 1. April 1871 in Ludwigslust) war eine Prinzessin von Hessen-Homburg und durch Heirat Erbgroßherzogin von Mecklenburg-Schwerin .
Auguste was the sixth child and fourth daughter of Frederick V, Landgrave of Hesse-Homburg and his wife Landgravine Caroline of Hesse-Darmstadt, in turn daughter of Louis IX, Landgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt. She was a member of the House of Hesse and a Landgravine of Hesse-Homburg by birth.

Hesse-Homburg was a state of the Holy Roman Empire and a sovereign member of the German Confederation. It was formed into a separate landgraviate in 1622 by the landgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt; it was to be ruled by his son, although it did not become independent of Hesse-Darmstadt until 1668.
