Léopold Sédar Senghor GColSE (Joal-Fadiout, 9 de outubro de 1906 – Verson, 20 de dezembro de 2001) foi um político e escritor senegalês. Foi presidente de Senegal, de 1960 a 1980. Foi, entre as duas Guerras Mundiais, juntamente ao poeta antilhano Aimé Césaire, ideólogo do conceito de negritude.
Léopold Sédar Senghor (/ s ɒ ŋ ˈ ɡ ɔːr /; French: [sɑ̃ɡɔʁ]; 9 October 1906 – 20 December 2001) was a Senegalese poet, politician, and cultural theorist who was the first president of Senegal (1960–1980). Ideologically an African socialist, Senghor was one of the major theoreticians of Négritude.
