Cheri Lynn Honkala (/ ˈ ʃ ɛ r i ˈ h ɒ ŋ k ə l ə /; born January 12, 1963) is an American anti-poverty advocate, co-founder of the Kensington Welfare Rights Union (KWRU) and co-founder and National Coordinator of the Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign, also called the Poor People’s Army.

Cheri Honkala is a nationally and internationally recognized activist who has been homeless and occupied abandoned houses to survive. She has launched the Poor People’s Army, a nonviolent movement to challenge corporate power and reclaim the basic necessities of life for poor and working people.
