Arthur stayed at MIT and completed his PhD in 2004 with research on robust Model Predictive Control (MPC). He came to Bristol later in 2004 and was appointed a lecturer in control and dynamics. Email: arthur.richards@bristol.ac.uk
Since 2004, he has been with the Department of Aerospace Engineering, University of Bristol, Bristol, U.K., where he is currently a Reader. His research interests include trajectory optimization, model predictive control, robotics, and their combination to develop high-performance guidance for autonomous vehicles. IEEE.org.
