Robert Cumming Schenck (October 4, 1809 – March 23, 1890) was a Union Army general in the American Civil War, and American diplomatic representative to Brazil and the United Kingdom. He was at both battles of Bull Run and took part in Jackson's Valley Campaign of 1862, and the Battle of Cross Keys.

Robert Leonard Schenck (born 1958) is an American Evangelical clergyman who has ministered to elected and appointed officials in Washington, D.C. and serves as president of a non-profit organization named for Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
Robert Schenck graduated from Miami University in 1827, and briefly practiced law in Dayton, Ohio. He was elected to the United States Congress in 1842, served four terms, before being named ambassador to Brazil by President Fillmore, which he held until 1853.
