Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh, PVSM, AVSM is an officer of the Indian Air Force. He is serving as the 47th Vice Chief of the Air Staff. He assumed the office on February 1, 2023 succeeding Air Marshal Sandeep Singh.
The current VCAS is Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh. He succeeded Air Marshal Sandeep Singh to the post on 1 February 2023. As Vice Chief, Air Marshal AP Singh will directly be in charge of IAF's ongoing capability build-up and visualizing its future technology requirements.

1 de fev. de 2023 · Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh. Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh PVSM AVSM took over as the Vice Chief of the Air Staff (VCAS) on 01 February 2023. On the occasion of taking over of the office of VCAS, he laid a wreath at the National War Memorial to honour those Armed Forces personnel who have made the supreme sacrifice for the nation.
He served as the Deputy Chief of Air Staff from 1 October 2019 to 30 April 2021. [6] He has also served as Senior Air Staff Officer for the Eastern Air Command from 1 January 2019 to 30 September 2019. [7] He superannuated on 31 January 2023 and was succeeded by Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh.
