John Herschel Glenn Jr. (Cambridge, 18 de julho de 1921 – Columbus, 8 de dezembro de 2016) foi um engenheiro, aviador naval, piloto de teste, astronauta e político norte-americano. Ele foi o terceiro norte-americano a ir ao espaço e o primeiro a orbitar a Terra durante o voo da Mercury-Atlas 6 em 20 de fevereiro de 1962.
