Há 3 dias · Charles Carroll of Carrollton was a grandson of Charles Carroll the Settler. Charles Carroll of Carrollton is important because he was a signer of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. He was the only Roman Catholic to sign, and he was the sole surviving signer following the deaths of John Adams and Thomas Jefferson on July 4, 1826.
