Peggy Flanagan (born September 22, 1979) is an American politician, community organizer, and Native American activist serving as the 50th lieutenant governor of Minnesota since 2019. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), Flanagan served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2015 to 2019.
Peggy Flanagan is a member of the White Earth Band of Ojibwe and the country’s highest ranking Native woman elected to executive office. She works with Governor Tim Walz to advance equity, housing, and child care for Minnesotans, and co-chairs the Young Women’s Initiative.

She will focus on inclusion, policy and representation for communities, especially Native voters, in the 2024 election.
