Henri de Massue, 2nd Marquis de Ruvigny, Earl of Galway, PC (9 April 1648 – 3 September 1720) was a French Huguenot soldier and diplomat who was influential in the English service in the Nine Years' War and the War of the Spanish Succession.

Henri de Massue, 1st Marquis de Rouvigny (1603–1689) was a French diplomat. He was the eldest son of Daniel de Massue, Seigneur de Rouvigny and Madeleine de Pinot des Fontaines. A Protestant, in 1647 Rouvigny married Marie, a daughter of Pierre Tallemant, and had two sons, Henri and Pierre.
In 1692 the Huguenot Henri de Ruvigny was appointed Commander in Chief in Ireland, and Lord Galway the following year. From then until the Treaty of Ryswick in 1697 he served William III in his Continental wars against Louis XIV. Between 1697 and 1701 he was in virtual sole charge of the government of Ireland.
HENRI DE MASSUE RUVIGNY, MARQUIS DE, afterwards EARL OF GALWAY (1648-1720), was born at Paris on the 9th of April 1648, and was the son of the 1st Marquis de Ruvigny, a distinguished French diplomatist, and a relative of Rachel, the wife of Lord William Russell.
