Jeffrey Hardee Atwater (born April 8, 1958) is an American financier who served as the 3rd Chief Financial Officer of Florida from 2011 to 2017, and currently serves as Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Chief Financial Officer at Florida Atlantic University.
Jeff Atwater is a former Florida CFO, state senator, and banking executive who chairs the Financial Services Industry Practice at Ballard Partners. He has expertise in insurance, banking, securities, and pension investment policy and management.
Jeff Atwater is the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Chief Financial Officer at Florida Atlantic University since 2017. He was previously the Florida Chief Financial Officer and Senate President, and has a background in banking and community service.
