Henry Boyle, 1st Earl of Shannon, PC (Ire) (1682 – 28 December 1764), was an Anglo-Irish politician and peer who served as the speaker of the Irish House of Commons from 1733 to 1756.
Henry Boyle (1684–1764) was a prominent Irish politician, speaker of the house of commons, and chancellor of the exchequer. He controlled a large electoral interest in Cork and Waterford, and dominated the revenue board and the lord justices for thirty years.
