Alexander Frederick Douglas-Home, Baron Home of the Hirsel, KT , PC (/ ˈhjuːm / HEWM; 2 July 1903 – 9 October 1995), styled as Lord Dunglass between 1918 and 1951 and the Earl of Home from 1951 until 1963, was a British statesman and Conservative politician who was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1963 to 1964.

Douglas-Home (then known by his courtesy title of Lord Dunglass) became Parliamentary Private Secretary to Chancellor Neville Chamberlain. When Chamberlain became Prime Minister in 1937, he retained Dunglass as his PPS. Dunglass even accompanied Chamberlain on the Munich visit in September 1938.
