Bill Hanna directed this and yet it feels like fanfiction. Sappy moments, meandering plot threads, not enough actual comedy. It wants to toy with the idea of the Flintstones +Rubbles being grandparents but doesn’t commit to aging them visually or with what’s written on the page.
