In Texas, just after the Civil War, a gunman is sent by the governor to make peace between cattle ranchers and land squatters.
Not only does Dennis Morgan make an entirely unconvincing cowboy, he has the annoying habit of bursting into song every ten minutes in this insipid Western from Warners. The weak plot sees him travelling to Texas to stop rich Yankees from stealing cattle from Southern 'squatters' living on the land they've purchased.
