A horror comedy with minimal gore, but many murders, follows Jimmy Spencer (Tobey Maguire) as he's shipped off to his horrible father's house. There, we learn his grandfather (Mickey Rooney) shot down the Red Baron in WWI and that he salvaged the wreckage to make a little model, in a macabre fit of trench art.
