Magnum Force is a 1973 American neo-noir action thriller film and the second to feature Clint Eastwood as maverick cop Harry Callahan after the 1971 film Dirty Harry. Ted Post, who had previously worked with Eastwood on Rawhide and Hang 'Em High, directed the film.

Magnum Force (1973) PLOT | AUDIO | TRIVIA | CAST | CREDITS | PURCHASE. Eastwood plays cop Harry Callahan, who is baffled by a series of killings of prominent Bay Area criminals. He notes that all of the deaths were caused by the same weapon, a .357 Magnum.
Having noticed that all homicides have been committed by a .357 Magnum, the weapon of choice by the SFPD force, Callahan suspects that there might be cops responsible for wiping out crime bosses.
